Here a small new series of photographs from August 1998.
This year, I only had August for holidays (due to training course),
but nevertheless I had time to take some photographs, mainly in the Salie.
The photographs after the three first were taken at the
end of a sand peninsula at high tide in Southern Salie. It is a rather
rare phenomenon in the area : the off sandbank remained dry even
with high tide. Moreover, at its end, the waves remained in
formation, which made it possible to reach them without too much
difficulty. The only problem came from the output current of peninsula
which caused us to make large swimming turns as to come back after each fall. Because
of the current, this peninsula hardly stayed in these particular conditions
only 2 or 3 days. What a pity, but nevertheless had plenty of fun.
Wait for the next summer for new series...
